Description

NA DESC: 1025-00-802-2575, Part Number 8768859, the item to procure is a Guide, Firing Pin. Requirements are for a quantity of 110 each for use on the M109A6 Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 27 Dec 01. Past performance and price will be used as evaluatio n factors for this solicitation. The material is Steel .38-.53C AISI, Phosphate Coated. Approximate size is 5.098 overall length, 5.440, overall width, 2.040 body thickness; Tongue 2.499 LG X 1.031 W X 2.130 THK; Mounting Hole .530 DIA, Counterbored .750 DIA X 1.900 Deep. FOB is Destination New Cumberland, Pa and Origin for the Option Quantity. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wi shing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments the reto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendmen ts which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contr act will include a 100% option. Proposed contract is 100% HUBZONE set-aside. Offerors must be HUBZONE certified by the Small Business Administration to be considered. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code, Compa ny Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet. This action is an unfunded FY02 requirement.
