- A Draft Statement of Work is released for an OMB Circular A-76 Direct Conversion for the 552d Computer Systems Group Computer and Information Systems Services at Tinker AFB, OK. Please be advised that this SOW is merely a DRAFT at this time and various changes may be included in the final Statement of Work once the RFP is released. The Draft SOW is provided to give companies an overview of the overall services to be requested. IT IS BEING EMPHASIZED THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. However, it is very IMPORTANT that interested companies review the DRAFT Statement of Work and Attachments and take this opportunity to submit any comments or questions in writing via FAX or e-mail. The requirement includes two computer software analysis and programming services and four non-computer programming services. The requirements are identified in six separate and diverse functions. The computer software analysis and programming services functions include E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) Aircraft Ground Support Systems, and Wing Personal Based Computer Systems. The other functions include Simulator Communications Support, Information Management Services, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) Management, and Network Operations Support. This acquisition is part of an Office of Management and Budget Circular A-76 Cost Direct Conversion. A best value contractor will be selected using source selection procedures outlined in FAR Part 15 and the price will be compared against the government cost estimate. If the comparison indicates the conversion will not be cost effective, a cost comparison initiative will be scheduled. The NAICS Code is 541513. The size standard is $18,000,000.00 A draft Request for Proposal is schedule for release on or about 9 January 2002.
