Description

The VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) intends to award a contract for the lease of a 2002 Ford F450 Truck. This Truck will consist of a 4X2 Cab and Chassis, Specifications: Oxford White, XL Trim Package, Telescoping Mirrors (manual), 7.3 Power Stroke Turbo Diesel, Automatic Transmission, 15,000 GVWR, Engine Block Heater. The Convenience Package consist of: Tilt Steering, Air Conditioning, AM/FM Stereo/with Clock. To be installed 16? long, 84? high, 96? wide FRP, Enclosed Box With Waltco 1600 lb. Cap. Tuck-A-Way Lift Gate with 32? X 172? + 4? Platform, 2 Grab Handles, 1 per corner post, 1 Dome Light .032 One Piece Aluminum Roof mounted on-roof Bows 24? on center. The 2002 Truck to be under Gold Plus Maintenance Program. Provide credit card and Billing Service for Fuel. All normal maintenance to be included, Oil & Filter Changes, All parts worn or defective on Truck. All accidents will be turned in on Lease Insurance. The lease is for a period of 60 months. Contractors who believe they can furnish this type of lease are invited to submit their quotes no later than December 11, 2001. If no quotes are received, VANTHCS will proceed with negotiations for a sole source award with Billingsley Ford of Ardmore. NAIC: 53212. See numbered note 22.
