DESC: Overseas Bulk Fuel Procurement for Atlantic/Europe/Mediterranean are Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP5) NSN: 9130-00-273-2379, specification MIL-DTL-5624T, dated September 18, 1998, quantity 53,600,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1d; Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8) NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, specification MIL-DTL-83133E, dated April 1, 1999, quantity 321,380,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1i; Fuel, Naval Distillate (F76), NSN: 9140-00-273-2377, specification MIL-F-16884J, dated May 31, 1995, quantity 118,000,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1b; and Gasoline, Automotive, 89 AKI (MUI) NSN: 9130-01-461-2355, specification EN 228:1999, quantity 720,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1b. Delivery period for the above items under Purchase Programs 1.1d, 1.1i, and 1.1b is from July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003, plus a 30-day carryover period. Overseas Bulk Fuel Procurement for Northeast/ Greenland are Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8) NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, specification MIL-DTL-83133E, dated April 1, 1999, quantity 28,602,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1j and Gasoline, Auto, Midgrade, 89 Octane (MUM) NSN 9130-01-272-0983, specification ASTM D 4814, quantity 200,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1j. Delivery Period for above items under Purchase Program 1.1j is from July 1, 2002 through August 31, 2002, plus a 30-day carryover period. This solicitation will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.desc.dla.mil on or about December 24, 2001. When the solicitation is posted on the homepage, a notice will be sent to all firms on the mailing list. If you do not have access to the Internet, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. If you intend to submit an offer, you are required to return a completed and signed "Offeror Submission Package" to the DESC Bid Custodian before the closing date and time. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
