- Notice is hereby provided of the intent to issue a request for proposals (RFP) for Global Enterprise Management Support (GEMS). The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) plans to place the RFP on the DITCO Contracting Opportunities Home Page at https://www.ditco.disa.mil/dcop/Public/ASP/dcop.asp on or near 03 Dec 2001, where it will be available for downloading. GEMS is intended to provide high quality Program Management support for DISA (to include support of the Global Information Grid (GIG)), as well as for the Department of Defense (DoD) and other Federal agencies. Contracts resulting from this RFP will be Multiple Award, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ). The anticipated period of performance is six (6) years (2-year base period and 4 one-year option periods). Awards will be limited to small businesses only (100% Small Business Set-Aside); the Government also reserves the right to further reserve awards for both qualified HUBZone and 8(a) participant businesses. NAICS code 541512 (Computer Design Services/$18M) applies.
