Description
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) on behalf of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has a requirement to conduct a feasibility study on Commercial Bus Crash Causation. The objective of this study is to identify where commercial bus crashes of different sizes occur, determine a strategy for obtaining a sample of crashes and develop options for data collection and analysis. The FHWA is seeking responsible offerors who can provide the services outlined in the solicitation. This requirement will be awarded on an unrestricted basis. All interested parties should submit their proposal in accordance with the attached solicitation. The solicitation and all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) under FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov. Choose the "EPS for Vendors" option followed by selection of the DOT/FHWA section. The solicitation and related documents will be posted under RFQ number DTMC75-01-Q-00011. NO WRITTEN, TELEPHONIC, FACSIMILE OR EMAIL REQUESTS will be honored. Interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by email. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the EPS (FedBizOpps) website for any solicitation amendments. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer. This is a Simplified Acquisition and award of a firm-fixed price purchase order will be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government. Proposals are due JANUARY 07, 2002. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the threshold is $100,000.
