- The United States Penitentiary (USP-Florence), located at 5880 State Highway 67 South, Florence, CO, 81226, intends to award a contract for instruction of business machine operations program for federal prisoners. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The awardee will be using a course and its curriculum as provided by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 611420, with a small business size standard of $5.0 million. Services will be provided to (male) federal inmates, inside a Federal prison with a security designation of HIGH. The contract will be awarded with one base-year, with four option years. The Government has unilateral authority to exercise each of four option years. Total contract life is five years, if all option years are exercised by the Government. The estimated annual quantity of sessions is four-hundred and fifty (450). Otherwise stated as two, three hour sessions per day, Monday through Friday, for fifty-two weeks, less ten Federal Holidays. Anticipated award date of contract is February 15, 2002. The solicitation is now available and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
